As a father, a business owner and an Emmy winner Matt had found success at almost everything he turned his hand to. However, pushing himself hard at work and in his personal life meant he began to neglect his health. Something we regularly see at The One Percent Club.
A hectic work and social life had taken a toll on his body. Despite working with other personal trainers, he found himself ‘working out’ rather than ‘training’.
In other words, there was no direction, no structure, no base levels to work from and no regular measurements to check progress.
After reaching out to The One Percent Club, Matt worked with coach Luke and lost 11KG in his first 5 months and was able to stay motivated as he was regularly updated with his progress, the most substantial of which was actually his stress markers, more than the 2 stone of weight.

- Create a training plan that was easy to follow and was goal directed, rather than just randomly exercising
- Teach Matt how to live in shape, rather than dieting and then ‘falling off the wagon.’
The Result

- Able to do 10 consecutive pull ups
- 1 year after the result is 1.5kg heavier than his lowest!
